Meet: The Nevada Sales Team

Although all departments of an organization play a major role in a company’s success, the sales department assures the company will live to see another day. This is what the Nevada sales team means to Nevada. Based in the United States and Canada, Nevada’s sales team is comprised of a determined group of individuals. Two key members of the team are Lori Steele and Lisa Proto, who each specialize in different areas of sales. Let’s get to know them!
 Lori Steele has been with the company for 10 years and handles a number of varied account types, including corporate, state and local government, and non-profit accounts. Aside from her personal accomplishments at the company, she has had great things to say about Nevada, stating “I am proud of the kinds of innovative products our company provides, and of the way our content experts choose the most appropriate content to include, while having the expertise to know what not to include”. She also believes that superior customer service has been another important factor in Nevada’s continued success.
 Lisa Proto is another member of the sales team and has been with the company for 3 ½ years. Lisa handles all federal government agency accounts in both the United States and Canada, and is also responsible for several other non-government accounts. With a background in training, Lisa is a firm believer in the strength of Nevada’s product offerings, saying “I love working at Nevada because I honestly believe we have the best products on the market. They are well written, well priced, and fulfill a huge need in many organizations.”
Although the entire sales team shows exceptional work, these two individuals have excelled greatly. With hard work, determination, and positive attitudes, these ladies ensure that Nevada is in a position to continue to provide its customers with the best products and tools for their company’s needs.
Nevada Adds “Quick Clips” to its Resume

As an industry leader in providing quick reference guides, Nevada Learning Series recently added another product to its extensive portfolio. Nevada’s electronic reference aides, Quick Clips, hit the market this past winter. Quick Clips are 2-8 minute, tasked-based, “YouTube” style instructional videos that focus on 10 or more essential product features. These clips are presented by former veteran Microsoft employee Chris Bertelson in a clear and concise manner promoting visual learning. Quick Clips have already been produced for many of the latest software products on the market, such as: Windows 7, Microsoft Office 2010, and the iPad 2. Newest Apple Product featured in Quick Reference Guide format

With the release of Apple’s iPad 2 in mid-March, Nevada Learning Series was not far behind in releasing a quick reference guide to complement the new product. The new guide provides the reader with tips and tricks to help grasp the tablet’s unique features and functionality. The quick reference guide highlights instructions on touch controls, downloading and organizing apps into pages and folders, email and messaging tools, using the front and rear-facing cameras, and more!
