Keyboard commands: + add, – subtract, * multiply, / divide. |
Place brackets around the operations that you want to perform first; otherwise, multiplication/division will be done before addition/subtraction. |
Instead of typing cell references, select the cells that you want in your formula. |
Click the Paste Function icon  to choose one of Excel's 200+ built-in functions. |
Press ESC to get rid of the marquee (  ) around cell(s). |
Press F4, as many times as required, to add or remove dollar signs ($) in the Formula Bar for absolute, relative, or mixed cell references. |
