Nevada Team Event “Now and Then"
 On Monday October 1st, 2007, Nevada celebrated its new President Brett Purcell, and upcoming changes with a kick off. With a Theme of “Now and Then”, we felt it was only fitting to take a look into the Pre-computer Era.
Where better to dive into history then to visit the Royal Ontario Museum.
Early Typewriters, is one of the newest exhibits at the ROM today. It offers a variety of the world oldest typing machines, including the Crandall, the Hammonia and the Lambert. The exhibit is host of over 25 machines provided to the museum by Mr Martin Howard.
The excitement of our team event was increased as Martin Howard agreed to be our personal guide for the day. Martin’s passion for his collection was revealed through the tour of his exhibit and the feedback from the team was excellent.
We would like to thank Martin for his time and for being a great highlight to our day. We had a great time and would encourage others to take a trip to the Rom to visit this exhibit.
